Louisa Cannell is a Los Angeles based artist. Her work focuses on inclusive and feminist portraiture. With a background in photo production, design, and marketing, Louisa centers her art around real people, the patterned and detailed spaces they live in, and the social justice causes they fight for. She strives to make people feel beautiful and empowered.
Louisa grew up in the DC area. She attended Bowdoin College in Maine where she received a BA in Art History and Visual Arts. Louisa worked in media in New York for eight years before pursuing illustration full time and moving to Los Angeles.
